Effective Date: June 1, 2025 | Last Updated: June 1, 2025
1. Founder & Startup Feature Terms
1.1 Application-Based Features
When a Founder or Startup applies to be featured on FounderTube:
Submission of the application constitutes consent to be researched, profiled, and published on the Platform
FounderTube reserves the right to accept or decline any application without explanation
The applicant warrants that all information submitted is accurate, and that they have authority to represent the startup
FounderTube may reach out for additional information, a review interview, or media assets prior to publication
Paid feature packages have separate commercial terms specified in the applicable Feature Agreement
1.2 Editorial Features
For founders and startups selected by FounderTube's editorial team:
We will make reasonable efforts to contact the subject prior to publication
Published content is based on publicly available information and/or direct communication
Requests for correction of factual errors will be reviewed and addressed within 14 business days
FounderTube retains final editorial control over all published content
1.3 Profile Management
Profile subjects may log into their account to update profile content at any time
Changes to editorial article content, podcast episodes, or curated quotes require a written request to media@foundertube.com
FounderTube will process such requests within 14 business days
Removal requests are reviewed case-by-case; FounderTube is not obligated to remove factually accurate editorial content
2. Podcast Participation Terms
2.1 Consent & Media Release
All podcast guests must sign a Media Release & Consent Form prior to recording. By signing:
The guest grants FounderTube a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, distribute, and promote the episode across all platforms including YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and social media
The guest grants FounderTube the right to create and distribute short-form clips, Reels, and Shorts from the episode
The guest consents to their name, voice, likeness, company name, and logo being used in connection with the episode
The guest warrants that their participation does not violate any third-party agreements or confidentiality obligations
2.2 Raw File Delivery
FounderTube will provide guests with the complete raw audio and/or video files of their episode upon production completion
Guests may use these raw files freely — editing, publishing, sharing, or distributing them as they see fit
FounderTube makes no claims over the guest's use of raw files they receive
Raw file delivery is made in good faith; FounderTube is not responsible for technical issues arising from the guest's own use of raw files
2.3 Episode Publication
Episodes are published publicly on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts (when available)
Short-form clips and Reels/Shorts may be published on social media platforms for promotional purposes
FounderTube may edit the episode for length, quality, or editorial appropriateness before publication
Guests do not have editorial approval rights over the final published episode unless specifically agreed in writing
2.4 Removal Requests
Post-publication removal requests will be considered but are not guaranteed, as the guest signed consent prior to recording
FounderTube may remove episodes at its own discretion
Requests citing factual inaccuracies or harm will be reviewed with priority at legal@foundertube.com
3. Paid PR & Sponsored Content Terms
3.1 Eligibility
The following parties may engage FounderTube for Paid PR or Sponsored Content:
Startups seeking editorial coverage, feature articles, or profile promotion
Investors and VCs seeking visibility among the startup community
Vendors, SaaS tools, and business service providers targeting early-stage founders
3.2 Disclosure
All paid content is clearly labeled as "Sponsored", "Paid PR", "Promoted", or "In Partnership With"
FounderTube complies with applicable advertising disclosure standards
Labeling does not reduce the quality of content — paid features are held to the same editorial standards
3.3 Accuracy & Responsibility
The sponsoring party is responsible for the accuracy of information they provide
FounderTube reserves the right to edit, decline, or remove sponsored content that is misleading, inaccurate, or violates our editorial standards
Inclusion of sponsored content does not constitute an endorsement by FounderTube
3.4 Commercial Terms
Specific pricing, deliverables, timelines, and payment schedules are governed by the applicable Sponsorship or PR Agreement signed between the parties
Payments are non-refundable once content is published, unless otherwise agreed in writing
FounderTube reserves the right to pause or discontinue any sponsored relationship that conflicts with our editorial integrity
4. Contributor & Freelancer Terms
Freelancers and contributors submitting articles to FounderTube agree to assign all rights in their work to FounderTube upon publication, unless otherwise agreed
Contributors warrant that submitted content is original, accurate, and does not infringe third-party rights
FounderTube reserves the right to edit, adapt, headline, and distribute contributed content across all platforms
FounderTube is not liable for any third-party claims arising from a contributor's submission
5. Guest Post Terms
Guest posts from founders, ecosystem participants, and industry voices are subject to editorial review
By submitting a guest post, the author grants FounderTube a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the content
Guest posts represent the views of the author and not of FounderTube
FounderTube may decline, remove, or request revisions to guest posts at any time
Guest posts must not be promotional in nature unless clearly disclosed as Sponsored
