Welcome to FounderTube. By accessing or using foundertube.com, its associated content, profiles, newsletters, or any other FounderTube service (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable consumer protection and contract law.

1. About FounderTube

FounderTube is a media platform dedicated to the startup ecosystem. We feature Founders, Startups, and industry insights through editorial articles, podcast episodes, PR, and sponsored content. Our platform serves founders, investors, vendors, and ecosystem participants in India and globally.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use FounderTube. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. User Accounts

You may create an account to manage your Founder or Startup profile on FounderTube

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information

FounderTube reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

You may not create accounts for others or use automated means to access the Platform

4. Profiles — Founders & Startups

Profiles on FounderTube are created either through:

Application: The founder or startup applies to be featured and the profile is created upon approval

Editorial feature: FounderTube editorially selects a founder or startup to feature

Once a profile is published:

The profile subject receives login access to update their own profile content

Updates to editorial content (articles, podcast descriptions, curated quotes) must be requested by emailing media@foundertube.com

FounderTube retains editorial discretion over all published content

Profile removal requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis within 14 business days

5. Content on the Platform

5.1 FounderTube Content

All editorial articles, podcast episodes, videos, clips, graphics, branding, and platform content created by FounderTube are owned by FounderTube and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute FounderTube content without prior written permission.

5.2 User-Submitted Content

By submitting content to FounderTube (including profile information, founder stories, or startup details), you grant FounderTube a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to publish, display, adapt, and distribute that content across the Platform and its distribution channels. You retain ownership of your content.

You represent that:

You own or have the right to submit the content

The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or defamation rights

The content is accurate and not misleading

5.3 Contributor & Freelancer Content

Articles written by freelancers or external contributors are published under agreements with FounderTube. All rights in such content are assigned to or licensed by FounderTube unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5.4 Guest Posts

Guest posts from founders or ecosystem participants are subject to editorial review and approval by FounderTube. Published guest posts do not constitute an endorsement by FounderTube of the views expressed.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Post false, misleading, or defamatory content about any individual or company

Use the Platform to harass, threaten, or harm others

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or the Platform's systems

Use automated bots, scrapers, or crawlers without written permission

Impersonate any person, company, or FounderTube itself

Use the Platform for illegal purposes or in violation of Indian law

Circumvent or tamper with any security or access controls

7. Sponsored Content & Paid PR Disclaimer

FounderTube features paid sponsored content, paid PR placements, and vendor partnerships. All paid or sponsored content will be clearly labeled as "Sponsored", "Paid PR", or "In Partnership With" as appropriate. The inclusion of sponsored content does not imply endorsement of the sponsor's products or services by FounderTube.

Vendors and business partners may promote their products to FounderTube's audience of early-stage founders. Such promotions are commercial in nature and users should conduct their own due diligence.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. FounderTube makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content on the Platform

The fitness of any featured startup, founder, product, or service for any particular purpose

Uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform

Nothing on FounderTube constitutes financial, investment, legal, or business advice. Users should seek independent professional advice before making business decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, FounderTube shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, reliance on any content published, or any third-party actions. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed INR 5,000.

10. Third-Party Links & Platforms

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, tools, and services. FounderTube is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party platforms. Links do not constitute endorsement.

11. Modifications

FounderTube reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time. We may update these Terms with notice posted on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Termination

FounderTube may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. You may also delete your account by contacting media@foundertube.com.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. FounderTube encourages resolution of disputes through good-faith communication before pursuing legal action.
